We're serious about completely disrupting the way traditional toothbrushes impact our environment and waterways.

According to One Clean Planet, 50 million pounds (About 23,000 tonnes in non freedom units) of toothbrush waste are added to landfill each and every year and that's only in the USA! According to the ABC, us Aussies dispose of 900 tonnes worth of toothbrushes every year. Put quite simply, this just isn't acceptable anymore.

Perfect, so let's transition to Bamboo? Hold on there, Bamboo isn't always the greenest option available. Bamboo toothbrushes typically have nylon bristles which take hundreds of years to decompose and are generally sourced from China which have sub standard environmental and labour workforce standards which are components that go into manufacturing bamboo brushes. When digging into the supply chain, unethical deforestation and slave labour are used to source and manufacture these brushes which are often sourced from Alibaba or cheap 3rd parties.

Our modular design has a purpose, it means less total raw material is processed during the manufacturing process. The Tippy brushes superior durability means you only need to replace the handle once per year and detachable head twice per year at the very least.

Typical toothbrushes require the full brush, head and rubber mould to be created with every brush. This means more raw material is consumed and more waste is produced. Now consider that a normal brush needs to be replaced every 3 months and the Tippy brush only annually and you have a substantial reduction in consumer waste.

While we're hoping to completely change the way toothbrushes are disposed of, we still need your help to bring this vision to life.
